YIELD: 6 or more slices

INGREDIENTS:
1 frozen white bread dough
1 pound ground beef
1 pound mushrooms
8 - 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
parchment paper
bath (see note)
butter (see note)
flour
dashes of salt and pepper

NOTE: To get a crispy outer crust, you can do one of
several things: put a pan of water underneath the
bread as it's baking, brush beaten egg over the top or
brush melted butter over the top.

DIRECTIONS: Thaw the bread dough according to pkg
directions. On a floured surface, roll out so it is about
1/2 inch thick. Quickly wash the mushrooms under cold
water, allow to dry on paper towel or dish cloth.
Remove the outer stem and toss. Slice up mushrooms.
Brown the ground beef in a bit of butter, seasoning
with dashes of salt and pepper. When nearly browned,
add the mushrooms and stir. Allow to cool. Put the
Ground Beef/Mushroom mixture on rolled out bread.
Sprinkle Cheese over that. Roll up shut, closing the
two ends tucked in.
Bake 350*F and check every 20 min till bread is
golden brown. Remove and let it set for a good 10 min
before slicing.
You can also reheat slices on tin foil in oven.
