Chocolate
Mousse
INGREDIENTS:
¼ lb. Chocolate (chips work best)
4 Egg Yolks
4 Egg Whites
4 Tablespoons Butter, softened
2 Tablespoons Grand Marnier
DIRECTIONS:
Break Chocolate into small pieces and put on plate. Cover with another plate.
Position the plates carefully over a small sauce pan of simmering water and keep
an eye on it, till it’s melted.
Or you can use a smaller pot (with the Chocolate in it) inside a larger pot (that has
the water in it.
Beat Egg Yolks with blender till thick. Fold in Butter, Grand Marnier and melted
Chocolate.
In a separate bowl, beat Egg Whites until they stand in soft peaks. Fold the
Chocolate mixture into the Egg Whites slowly, with a wooden spoon. Divide
mixture into serving cups, refrigerate for a good 4 hours or more before serving.
Top with Cool Whip or Spray Whipped Topping, and with a potato peeler, peel
some Chocolate off a candy bar to garnish.
