Slow Cooking
Hawaiian Chicken
INGREDIENTS:

4  boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon  soy sauce
1 (15-ounce) can pineapple slices, juice reserved
1/3 cup  packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon  ground ginger
1/4 cup  cornstarch
1  green bell pepper, seeded & cut up in thick large chunks
1  sweet yellow onion, rough cut up
pinch red pepper flakes
1 to 2  chopped green onions, to garnish
Rice, cooked for 4 servings

DIRECTIONS:

Place chicken in slow cooker sprayed with non-stick spray
and pour soy sauce over. Place pineapple slices over
chicken. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and
stir until combined. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on
low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Serve over
rice.
SERVES 4

low for 4 to 5 hours or
high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
